Fingerstyle Guitar Instruction and the Easiest Guitar Chord Tabs

Fingerstyle guitar instruction can be an excellent addition to helping you express yourself on one the most beautiful and basic instruments in the world. The guitar is so versatile and provides the base for so many different types of music, that learning fingerstyle guitar instruction with guitar tab can be a great first step if you are hoping to become a musician. Guitar tab chords can also be easy to learn, and from there you can go on to learn other things like songs, how to tune guitar, and more complex guitar tab chords.

With fingerstyle guitar instruction, you should begin with all the major chords, which are A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.  By learning these 7 guitar tab chords you have a world of songs open to learn, as many songs only use a combination of 4 or even fewer chords. Then all you need to learn is the fingerstyle picking.  Learn these and practice with them before you move on to bigger and harder things.

The first and probably easiest chords to learn can be D, E, and A. These three only require 3 fingers in the left hand in very easy to reach positions, and are a good place to break the ice of your learning the other guitar tab chords. Once you learn those first three (which will, in themselves, allow you to play many songs), you can learn the full seven. Once you know the full seven, you are ready for fingerstyle guitar instruction.  You can practice the chords and get faster in switching, strumming, and holding them first.  Once you are ready for fingerstyle guitar instruction, it’s time to throw away the pick and work with your right hand.  Start with a simple pattern like thumb, index, middle, index.  Repeat this pattern in your right hand over and over again until it comes naturally.  You will see that just like your left hand, your right hand adapts well to practicing and repetition.
